A car wrap is an alternative to painting your car that provides a personalized look with a coloured graphic film that’s installed on to your vehicle. The design and colour combinations are only limited by your imagination and your budget.
A vinyl wrap is a more cost effective and customizable option for designing the exterior aesthetic of your vehicle. If the existing paint job on your car is in bad condition, keep in mind that imperfections will still show through a vinyl wrap. Vinyl wraps are a great alternative to painting your car because it’s quicker, more durable, and reversible.
Depending on the quality of material and installation, you should expect a car wrap to last anywhere from 5-7 years. With proper care, vinyl wraps can last up to 10 years.
Yes. A wrap removal is an easy and quick procedure but one that should be left to the professionals to avoid unnecessary damage to the paint underneath. The wrap removal process is done in 3 main steps: heating, detailing, and patient removal. High quality wraps are designed in a way to not leave any adhesive residue after removal.
There are several factors to consider when trying to estimate the amount of time that a car wrap installation takes: the complexity of curves on the vehicle, the size of the wrap, the design process, and the type of materials used. The actual application of the wrap can take a couple of hours for partial wraps and can take a day or two for a full vehicle wrap.
You can wash a wrapped car but you should avoid brush car washes as they can degrade the wrap material and cause it to peel or warp. Hand washing is your best bet to not compromise the integrity of your vehicle wrap.
